Very powerful story and fantastic performance from Armie Hammer and an Oscar worthy performance from Writer-Director Nate Parker, but the movie somewhat crumbled in comparison to 12 years a slave and the beginning of the movie was cliched as hell and the narrative was weak until it really picked up in the second half.
