Review of The Birth of a Nation (2016) by Dave J — 28 May 2017
It jumps from idea to idea too much, but the setting is generally too interesting and harsh to notice much. The cast is great and the story needs to be seen/heard. Is he a hero for leading the revolt and the killings? The writers seem to give you their opinion (yes he is), but the truth is left up to the viewer.
