Review of The Birth of a Nation (1915) by Gary H — 25 Jun 2011
An outstanding D.W. Griffith film that I only rated 4 out of 5 because of the racist overtones of the 2nd half. The story of the US after the Civil War and how the nonwhites were taking over till the KKK steps in and saves the US.
The sequel "Fall Of The Nation" follows the story through WW1 but is a lost film.
