You can talk to me about cinematic innovation all day. When it's being used to portray a ridiculous story that degrades a people who were brought here against their will and treated like subhumans for centuries in favor of a mob of Southern idiot murderers, I still won't like it.
And the only reason I saw this was because it's supposed to be among the greats.
