Review of The Big Year (2011) by Ole J — 15 Feb 2012

So-so, semi predictable... watchable... but barely. A couple of redeeming nature shots kept me engrossed. Jack Black was different than usual, a good thing, but Own Wilson is the same ole. His shtick has definitely grown old.

I found it ironic he was cast with Steve "the nose (Roxanne)" Martin. I'm not sure I'll ever get past his honker and take him seriously. It reminds me of a really old X movie I saw based loosely on Cyrano.

.. a man with a penis nose :).
