Review of The Big Wedding (2013) by Anthony S — 26 Apr 2013
It's all been seen before -- which would be fine if The Big Wedding did it any better. But this is weak farce, prodding its characters to act in unbelievable ways for the sake of a laugh here and there.
Nothing rings true -- from Topher Grace's vow-of-chastity obstetrician to Robin Williams' sarcastic Catholic priest. It's a shame, too, because this is a good cast that brings an energy the material doesn't deserve.
