Review of The Big Wedding (2013) by Stewart F — 10 Nov 2013

Extremely contrived story line that pokes you in the eye. What a waste of so many great actors and Katherine Heigl (seriously, who on earth really thinks she's good at playing someone's love interest?). The payday must have been good, but the actors here are just dialling it in.

Not only is the story predictable and painfully obvious, but much of the "humour" is about as subtle as a kick in the nuts - which would actually be funnier than what we have here!

I haven't seen the French original, but my guess would be it was told with more finesse.
