Early John Wayne talkie would help to cement his status as a leading man, nine years before his breakthrough role in John Ford's 'Stagecoach'. Pretty impressive outdoor direction of sweeping vistas by Raoul Walsh as story follows an intrepid wagon train moving west with Wayne serving as an Indian-savvy scout.
