Review of The Big Trail (1930) by Shounak B — 25 Feb 2013
Surely a visually stunning film from Raoul Walsh with very close to accurate documentation of those conquests to western province of their 'country' in early 19th century.Though John Wayne acted poorly all over the film and appeared in a close up only in that poster, this film can offer us some great moments of conflicts between 'savage' Indians, long adventure and struggle and in the end, a Hero kills villain and gets the Girl, literally!
