The Big Sleep is full of deception and confusion and it is thrilling in the way that no one can tell what's going to happen, largely because no one knows what's going on to begin with. Bogart and Bacall's chemistry is outstanding and the climactic final sequence is exceptionally done.
The Big Sleep is a classic film in the noir genre and is a must see for film buffs.
