One of my favorite movies ever. I'm not usually a fan of romcoms but I won't shy away from a good story. This movie really moved me. It was funny. The acting was excellent. The ending was a little too sweet (corny?) but it's okay because this is a film about a relationship.
I took a friend with me who doesn't like romcoms. She's totally into horror movies almost exclusively. She absolutely loved The Big Sick.
We need more movies like this. Movies lovingly created with quality jokes and excellent story. I'd say more but I'm not a writer and hardly ever write reviews. This movie just screamed out for me to say something about.
