Despite being a very small-scale story told over an already long-for-the-genre runtime, I feel like 'The Big Sick' didn't spend near enough time developing really anything that happened in it, aside from the overarching plot.
I really loved almost all of the characters, with Ray Romano being the best of the bunch. And most of the jokes landed for me. Overall, it was a great movie. I guess I just wanted to see a little more of every aspect.
