Review of The Big Short (2015) by Andy L — 08 Mar 2016
Really enjoyable film, achieved explaining the complexities behind the credit crunch to the non banking experts very well. I found the characters very likeable and dialogue between then very entertaining, at times laughed out loud despite it being a serious film based on true events. Christian Bale and a host of A-listers played their roles very well and without glamorisation of the subject matter.
I was gripped despite knowing the inevitable outcome of the film. Thoroughly deserved the best writing/adapted screenplay Oscar.
