EVERYONE should watch this movie, and please watch it more than once. Better yet, buy it so you will always have a reminder, and you will hopefully never forget what happened. Why so many of our lives were destroyed because of other people's greed and dishonesty. They will do it again, if allowed. Pay attention.

Certain people are already attempting to undo the laws and protections that were put in place after this disaster. Do not allow government regulations on financial institutions to be loosened. We need even more regulation and oversight than we currently have on them. They possess the power to bring the whole thing down, and with great power comes great responsibility. We must hold them responsible and accountable for all their actions. We must educate ourselves about the things occurring in our financial markets. We should not allow greedy people in this country the free reign to create ridiculous and disastrously risky schemes to make more money for themselves.

Pay attention.

Educate yourself on what happened and what is currently happening. If you don't know what a CDO or Synthetic CDO is, you need to find out. It's just one of the many reasons our economy crashed. People are gambling with our money, our security, and we need to say what is acceptable and what is not. They do not have your best interest in mind and they do not care what you lose because of their decisions. They care about making money.
