I've only seen this film twice, the first of which I came away with the impression that the Coen's were having a laugh. My second viewing many years later left a different impression. While I get all the aspects of this film and why they work, they just don't work for me.
That is not to say that it is not enjoyable as there are plenty of really good moments, just not any meant for me.
