Review of The Big Knife (1955) by Erik G — 18 Aug 2008
Wow..if you thought The Player was anti-Hollywood, you haven't seen Jack Palance in The Big Knife. The photography is great (all shot in 2 weeks!) There is some melodramatic acting, but that fits the themes and style of the movie.
Throw in a great turn by Shelly Winters and Rod Steiger as the studio Exec and you've got a winner!
