Review of The Big Heat (1953) by J A — 01 Mar 2006
Glenn is no Bogart, but this great film by usually foreign influenced Lang is traditional Hollywood corrupting what should have been the best artist of our time. Powerful scenes and top notch acting keeps it running though (of course, planned by Lang.
.. but these aren't really anything near to his old prowess, regardless of what it meant for Film Noire).
