Review of The Big Heat (1953) by Bill R — 18 Jan 2010
This movie is definitely ahead of its time, pretty much inventing the template on which the Dirty Harry series was based on nearly 20 years later.
Glenn Ford is awesome as the grim-faced homicide detective, and Jocelyn Brando(Marlon's older sister) is also really good as his naive wife.
