Review of The Big Heat (1953) by Yama R — 17 Sep 2010
This reminded me a lot of The Bad Sleep Well. Both are about the cost of facing corruption and the cost of turning away from it and the inevitability of losing your soul either way. At least Akira Kurosawa made some hopeful movies later.
