Review of The Big Combo (1955) by J K — 15 Jun 2007
This is a really under rated film noir. I was really suprised by how much I like this movie. The relationship between Fante and Mingo is really interesting. It is as close to showing a homosexual couple as you will get in the fifties and even more interestingly their relationship is not show in a "sick" light.
It is probably the most solid relationship of the film.
