Review of The Big Chill (1983) by Amy E — 31 Jan 2009
Deserving of it's cult status. My favorite movie of all time.. A re-union of college friends prompted by their mutual friend's funeral due to suicide.. An examination of changing values, an unwillingness to grow up, selling out your hard-strung college moral convictions due to the reality of work life, and friendships that take a beating, however remain strong over the test of time.
. a great cast composed of some of hollywood's greats, a great script that makes you examine your own life, and a great soundtrack, I love it, it's unparalleled.
