My favourite movie.
Beautiful photography, beautiful underwater sequences, wonderful music, with three great actors Barr, Arquette and Reno. Its a comedy, a romance, a deep sea adventure about friendships. Two childhood rivals meet again to compete in the world free air diving championships in Sicily, each diving deeper to beat the other, each with issues from their past to resolve. The Director's cut has extra scenes that were not in the theatrical version.
