Review of The BFG (2016) by Isabel B — 08 Jul 2016
I'm really glad I didn't look up reviews before I watched the movie because it would have probably discouraged me. I admit, the beginning is slow and very uncharacteristic of a Dahl story. But it gets so good after that! I was honestly so happy by the end.
I'm a big fan of Roald Dahl, but the movie adaptations to his books often miss the mark. I feel like Roald Dahl would have approved of this adaptation. It has been a while since I last read the book, so I can't say for certain how accurate, but it is very enjoyable.
I highly recommend this movie.
