Visual wonder is the dish of the day in this latest Dahl adaption. There is no denying that CGI animation has come a long way, especially here, where the landscape, environments and facial expressions come alive with such detail and finesse.
It really helps that this richness in animated detail juxtaposes a classic heart-warming story with delightfullly-drawn characters and dialogue.
