Steven Spielberg’s The BFG is one of the most visually beautiful movies I have seen in a long time. Seriously it’s a very pretty movie. As for the rest of it, I guess you could say Spielberg has set the bar very high and this doesn’t quite reach the standard.
Great performances from all, particularly Ruby Barnhill, and topped off with another terrific score from John Williams. Recommended.
