Review of The BFG (2016) by Peteralexander — 09 Jul 2016
Steven Spielberg's rendition of the BFG makes for a sweet film, but lacks in driving home the all important themes set out by Roald Dahl. The way the movie is shot makes for some engaging sequences and moments, but the heavy use on CGI can be off-putting at times.
Overall, the story is touching at times, but falls slightly short in delivering the big moments.
