Spielberg does it again! I can see why many people wouldn't like this film in the modern Era. It's not overly flashy. There aren't any massive fights destroying cities. But the depth of the acting and motion capture made me fall in love with this film.
You get the feeling that the Bfg is immensely old and has seen so many tragedies that he simply doesn't know if he can hope anymore.
If you like old school story telling. Go watch it!
