I remember watching the UK animation when Iris was younger, and not enjoying it. Now we have a Hollywood CGI-fest and I still didn't like it. It's really boring and this is late Dahl fare; whisper this, it's not a very good story.
Sophie looks totally wrong, and they totally ditch her glasses. Rylance is good, but he's always good.
