Review of The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) by Justine S — 18 Aug 2006
I'm not one to give out 5/5 very often, but this is one of the best films I have ever seen. This social picture examines the effects of warfare on three returning vets. They come home to their lives, and to their dismay adjusting back to society is not as easy as they would have thought.
Excellent acting and scripwriting make this a film for the ages.
