Review of The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) by Peter B — 23 Nov 2007
Tremendously moving picture about what life was like for soldiers returning home from WWII - love, society, politics, passions - fantastic writing and directing. It got a little hokey with the orchestral music coming in.
.. but... well shit, you care so much about the characters at the end that doesn't matter. Bravo.
