Review of The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) by K D — 15 Jan 2008
What an all around great story, a terrific portrayal of what occurred all across America. I especially loved the weaving of three distinct storylines, each with their own dynamic, each containing extraordinary performances.
The hallway scene is among the most iconic visuals ever released from Hollywood and the slow walk made by Dana Andrews towards Teresa Wright in the end scene was heart-wrenching.
