Review of The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) by Les E — 08 Aug 2009
Wonderfully endearing story. Three very different characters return from the war and all struggle in their own ways to readjust to the old home town. At 3 hours it is very long but I watched it in three chunks and kept wanting to get back to it.
The script was a little dated but the sentiment is still powerful and relevant.
