Review of The Best of Me (2014) by Casey M — 30 Dec 2014
This movie is a concert of the best romance movies. Take "The Lucky One" and add Romeo and Juliet undertones, blended with "Note Book" tensions, and "Seven Pounds of Flesh" revelations and you get "The Best of Me." The casting is inspiring and lets us see what an excellent casting director can do.
As a viewer, this movie will best be received by those who hold faith and destiny closest to their heart. Also inspiring is the relentless romantic driving nature of Young Amanda, played by Liana Liberato. Who pulls off one of the best character traits we all hope to aspire to - a romantic filled with a never ending stream of hope.
This movie reminds us time stands still for no one. And if we're really lucky in our own lives, we may receive a second chance at a love so honest and devoted. That we will feel entirely saturated by its healing powers. To feel just once, we were born perfectly for our destined love ahead of us. We just never know when it will happen for each of us. And this movie demonstrates this fact in the most beautiful natural settings.
The director touches us with all the favourite places we all want to live out a romantic love. This is definitely a "Date"" movie for anyone who wants to fall in love and definitely for anyone in love right now. A real movie of hope and wonderment in the things we have very little say in - the destiny of love.
