I really loved the book that this movie is based on. It was a long time since I was this touched by a book and I found myself screaming loads of times when it wouldn't end up the way that I had hoped.
With that said I can say that the movie most certainly wasn't as good as the book. It just never really touched me the way that I wanted it to. This wasn't the best Nicholas Sparks movie, and I have seen them all, but it still managed to be enjoyable and worth my time.
