Review of The Bellboy (1960) by Jeff Z — 20 Oct 2008
I've seen this before, but not with the Jerry Lewis/Steve Lawrence commentary. The film still holds up, but it sounds like they did like one pass at the commentary. Jerry goes out of his way to spin his leaving Paramount. He also brags about a bit in the cafeteria that was "uncut" right when there is an obvious cut.
DVD includes trailers, outtakes and color footage of Jerry's publicity tour. Oh yes, and the film, which is still pretty enjoyable.
