Review of The Believer (2001) by Banu A — 10 Aug 2008
I liked this movie and I absolutely loved Ryan Gosling's performance.
The movie is about a very intelligent Jewish man who develops an anti-semitic world view. Throughout the movie, his past and the effects of religious education on him are given by flashbacks.
There are many memorable scenes in this movie. The part when holocaust survivors and neonazis talk is one of them.
Henry Bean does an excellent job in both writing the story and turning it into an impressive movie.
