Ryan Gosling is utterly convincing as the anti-hero. I thought this film didnt quite live up to its potential. Parts of the plot were weak, like the seemingly random sex scene, Carla's sudden fascination with Judaism, and Danny's sudden changes in mindset.
In other words, it could be better.
