LOVED THIS MOVIE. Sexy, dark, surprisingly funny - like wickedly funny - smart, suspenseful. Sofia Coppola's best to date. My only complaint was I wanted more - it teased where I wish it satisfied, it hinted where I wish it said.
I think this was on purpose - Sofia's Impressionism. But nonetheless, my imagination fills in the gaps and I am ravished by this film, thinking of it days later. And sharp, memorable performances from Nicole Kidman, Colin Farrel, Kirsten Dunst & Elle Fanning? Indeed I am Beguiled.
