This remake fell short and the original was a far superior movie. It was about an American war not a Irish one. They left out the reality of the error good or bad it was our history and we can not change it nor should we try.
Colin Farrell doesn't loose the accent nor comes close to the acting level of Clint Eastwood. I would not recommend wasting your time watching this.
