Review of The Beaver (2011) by Simon J — 11 Oct 2011
Mel Gibson living his life through a Beaver puppet to aid him through his depression? This not only sounds hilarious, but also feasable. Once you get over the fact that this is not a comedy, nor a documentary, you actually see a pretty decent performance from Gibson in a brave emotional drama.
Not overly gripping throughout, but a reasonable effort by Jodie Foster. Lets wish her luck for her next film 'FingerMouse' where Jeff Goldblum accidentally replaces his severed finger with a real life mouse.
