Moving and depressingly honest portrayal of mental illness and broken families. Mel Gibson is outstanding in the lead role and this is by far the best he's been in years. The characters were extremely well-written and I loved all the fine details of who they were.
Sort of an upper and downer film but it's well worth the view.
