This dark fantasy tries to follow in the footsteps of Conan the Barbarian, but comes out a little too cheesy and jaw-droppingly violent and lude for a PG-rated film. Plenty of stabbing, burning, digesting people whole, stealing unborn babies out of their mothers' bodies, throwing children in bonfires, breast shots, ass shots, and full frontal nudity in long shot.
Yes, Beastmaster is creepy, but nevertheless fun.
