Review of The Beastmaster (1982) by Rcavey92212 — 12 Jun 2020
The director of Phantasm Don Coscarelli wove this playful slice of sexy, retro swords and sorcery, that holds up surprisingly well. Hunky Marc Singer stars as the title character. A sexy, scantily clad warrior who can communicate with animals. After his village is destroyed he teams up with his animal friends 2 ferrets and a fierce feline to help rescue a gorgeous new friend played by Sheena herself Tanya Roberts from a power hungry monster played by a hilarious RIP Torn. Loaded with magic, furry friends, nonstop action and a seductive Marc Singer. Beastmaster stands as cinematic classic of campfest kind.
Budget: $9m.
Box Office: $14m.
