Dude gets born from a cow, but doesn't look like a minotaur. Plus, Rip Torn is in there somewhere too - he has a degree in animal husbandry, so it's quite possible that he knocked up the cow, and therefore, the Beastmaster could actually be his son.
Freaky, huh? It gets worse - imagine a minotaur, with the head of Rip Torn! Now that would be some scary s**t.
