Review of The Beast Must Die (1974) by Jonathan B — 10 Oct 2007
Various people are gathered by big game hunter Tom Newcliffe at his isolated mansion to determine which one of them is a werewolf. Needless to say, they all have skeletons in the closet. Newcliffe of course, wants to hunt and kill his very own werewolf to add to his trophies. A cast of British horror stalwarts adds gravitas to the proceedings( Peter Cushing, Charles Gray and Anton Diffring), and the film even contains a 60 second break in the film, where you, dear viewer can guess the identity of the lycanthrope.
Very entertaining mid 70's British horror film.
