Review of The Beach (2000) by George E — 16 Feb 2010
Thought it will be godawful. But it was actually OK. It isn't that bad as what the critics make it out to be. I actually think it's better than the other Danny Boyle film, 28 Days Later (I can't believe that this piece of trite got universal praise), Sunshine and Slumdog Millionaire.
The music was quite good. The cinematography was beautiful. But I thought some of the actions of Richard were weird. I mean, why would he sleep with Sal?
