Well paced, acted and filmed, interesting concept, with only a few sticky moments and rough end.The film does not aspire to sociology. It just wants to tell a story. And that it does well. Danny Boyle manages to heighten the impact of The Beach with non-rational imagery, high-energy cutting and sharp-edged social commentary.
