Review of The Beach (2000) by Corey N — 06 Dec 2009
This is a decent movie. The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a young America in Thailand that soon learns of a paradise island. Him and a group of other young people he meets get a map to this place and travel to it.
They discover the paradise and the people who already inhabit it. But paradise never last when human emotions come into play. Not a bad story. A good young supporting cast fills out the movie. The movie focus is on DiCaprio's character.
You get to see all the ups and downs of these people. This movie sometimes gets a bad rap but I enjoyed it. Worth a watch.
