The Batman is utter crap.
Incredibly mediocre in concept, plot, action, and performance. Blandly noir in style. At LEAST an hour longer than its plot merits on account of a red herring (a predictable red herring) that takes up the entire second act.
The soundtrack consists of mostly the two chords from Nirvana’s “Something in the Way”, and Bruce Wayne, in the few moments that the movie allows the character to exist at all, is tediously ‘emo’.
It’s crap.
