Review of The Batman (2022) by Royalguy07 — 07 Mar 2022
Overall Outlook: An electric soundtrack, stellar performances, and intense kinetic action prop up this "Grittier, Darker Batman" to (almost) great new heights. Reeves and Pattinson together have developed a more brooding and vengeful batman who is the most present figure in the movie.
Reeves seems much more interested in diving deep into the "Batman" persona fully then trying to balance it out with the seemingly sidelined alter ego of Bruce Wayne. Pattinson shines as well as he can in the new (awesome looking) bat suit, of which he does roughly 85% of his scenes in.
Zoe Kravitz did predictably great work in what I ultimately thought was a role and arc that could of used some more development or thought. Major all time batman movie highlights I will remember from this movie include: The Soundtrack, the car chase seen, and the Riddler prison scene.
